- NorthEast Climate Confluence, an event promoting sustainable community sustainability education/networking, skill-sharing, etc.
- What kind of activities or groups would you like to be involved with?
- I am the transportation coordinator for the Boston region of the NE Climate Confluence, and we're trying to organize cost-effective, and eco-friendly transportation for 30-50 folks who would be traveling from the Boston area on July 30th, and returning on August 3rd. If there is some way to connect with your group on making this happen. I'm open to any input.
We would love to have a presence from your group at the event too. It takes place in High Falls, NY 7/30 - 8/3 www.climateconfluence.org
- What's the most inspiring event/person/occurance you have seen recently?
- Two things: An article in the New York Times revealing dark secrets about the US administration's foreign policy. And seeing a news cast on ABC (of all places) about veggie oil cars and biodeisel conversion. People getting real. [I am not into this kind of news stuff, it just crosses my path now and then.] People are beginning to realize some important things about our local/ national/ global situation!
